Although our main winery is situated in Bardolino, another winery has been built in the nearby Valpolicella area.
In the 1960s Bardolino was the wine with the highest demand, especially abroad and Bardolino was the heart of the production in our winery. But at the time, a slight wind of change towards more structures wines could be perceived and Nino Zeni caught these signals and decided to open a new winery in the Valpolicella area, dedicated entirely to the production of the more full-bodied wines from Valpolicella.

When the market turned openly to these new requests, the intuition of Nino revealed to be a successful move: our winery had already gained a solid experience in this region and was prepared for the production of Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Superiore, Recioto della Valpolicella and Amarone della Valpolicella.
Today our winery in Fumane is fully functional and dedicated exclusively to the raisining and vinification of grapes destined for our wines from Valpolicella. The ageing then takes place in the marvelous barrique cellar in our winery in Bardolino.
